TTS #54 and SNEAKS!!!!!!!!

Happy Tuesday evening!!!! Hope you all had wonderful weather like we did today! Spring is finally here (crossing my fingers)!

Today I am sharing the latest sketch from Triple the Sketch - #54. I turned this into a 2 page layout! I had it ready for Kennedy's birthday and had the guests sign the right hand page. I added the photos to that page after the party. I love seeing the progression of her birthdays....day she was born, 1st birthday, 2nd birthday, 3rd birthday and lots of her 4th!
Come play along with this weeks awesome sketch HERE.

Next I have some peeks for you of the May kit at Kraft Girls! This one is so soft and pretty - you will love it!!!!! So run to Kraft Girls and order your kit!!!

And.............. I have some super exciting scrappy news that I am BURSTING to share! But I can't until May!

Have a wonderful week!!!
Blessings to you!

My Little Shoebox + Hambly!

Yes, my title is correct! My Little Shoebox goodies with Hambly deliciousness! I was so thrilled when the fabulous Suzy West told us we would be working with Hambly AND My Little Shoebox this month! What a treat! The two go together sooo well!!! See for yourself! (This month I worked with the line "WONDERFUL" from My Little Shoebox)

"Face Painting"
On this layout I used a yellow Hambly overlay on white cardstock for my background. And I stitched around it of course - did you know you can stitch on overlays?! I also added an orange kraft sticker from Hambly along the left side of the photo. I placed two teal tree rub ons from Hambly in the bottom right corner. Do you see the little pink one at the base of the trees? That is Hambly too! The matching teal rub on is on the left side of the photo. Of course all the paper, chipboard letters ad die cuts are My Little Shoebox!

In this full shot you can see the fun I had playing with circles! I cut the blue circle die cuts in half and adhered them to the right edge of the photo to make a scallop effect. The smaller blue circles are actually punched from patterned paper and layered with jewels!

"Yo"
This is a very simple card! All patterned paper is My Little Shoebox along with the chipboard letters! On the right side of the card I layered 2 Hambly overlays (pink and teal). Then used another Hambly tree rub on!!!

"Cresto" (Kennedy says Cresto instead of Presto when waving her wand!)
I am in love with the Hambly overlays now. This pink one is so delicious! I layered strips of My Little Shoebox paper along the left side - and added a teal kraft sticker from Hambly. The green and yellow circles are punched from the MLS patterned paper. And the pink journal spot is a Hambly rub on!

"BFF"
One final card for you! I again layered the Hambly overlays! I used a My Little Shoebox die cut to house the title and added lots of Hambly rub ons. The title is actually a Martha Stewart sticker.

Thanks for taking a peak friends! In a few days I will post more My Little Shoebox creations!!!!!

April Magazine

For the month of April, I had four pubs! It was a very exciting month! They were all in CARDS magazine (on shelves now!). Here is a looksie!

"Little One"
Used more yummy Making Memories Animal Crackers on this one!
"Happy Birthday"
I used a cupcake template from scrapbook.com to make this size. I seem to be hooked on Making Memories because this was their Easter line from '08! You can't tell in the photo, but there is also glitter all around the cupcake! And the cupcake holder has pink glitter cardstock strips from Doodlebug!
"Whoo Loves You?"
I adore this line from K & Company! So fun and girly! I also have a huge ribbon stash - it was fun to use this bright pink sheer ribbon here!

"Happy Birthday"
On this card I used a mixture of Little Yellow Bicycle goodies, Prima, K & Company, Martha Stewart and Creative Cafe! Layered tons of fun things on this card!
I have been creating like crazy for upcoming deadlines! So keep your eyes peeled for reveals and sneaks for May!!!

Have a super week!

In Print....

It seems I never remember to share when some of my work is in print. My local scrappy friends always ask and I rarely remember to bring copies to show them! So...here are the last 2 months...

March Cards - 2 little mini cards! You can see the alligator one in the background! I just love the Animal Crackers line from Making Memories...perfect baby goodies!

February Scrapbook Trends - a layout of Jeff and Kennedy. (We were visiting the land Ryan and Lindsay purchased to build their home on...and they moved in a few months ago!) I was tickled the editor did a little blurb about my layout in the opening pages! That was a cool surprise!

And here is Kennedy holding the magazine!March Cards - They asked for a set of 5 mini cards but just spotlighted one. You can kind of see the others in the background. And the instructions they printed were actually for a different card, but oh well! No biggie! These were made with the Making Memories Animal Crackers line again!

At Michaels this week I noticed the April Cards magazine is out....I am in there too! As soon as I get my copy of the mag I will post them on here for you all to see. :)

Have a blessed week!

"Gigi"
Yum. This paper is just delish! And I completely adore this photo of my grandmother and Kennedy! This is a new fav of mine I think!!!

Hope you are all enjoying your weeks!!!!! Have a blessed one!

Triple the Sketch BLOG HOP!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to the Triple the Sketch Blog!!!!! To celebrate we are having a blog hop!!!! Are you ready to play?!?!

You should be starting your hop at the Triple the Sketch blog. If you did not start there, please return to the TTS blog so that you don’t miss any of the fun!
And you should have joined me from Chelsea's Blog!

For today I went back through some older sketches and chose to use Sketch #29! Here is my take on it!

I did kind of a mirror image take on the sketch! I used the April kit at Kraft Girl kits to create it. In a little pad of paper I keep track of little things Kennedy says and does that I never want to forgot. I was rereading it the other day and came across this cute little thing she said to me. And I had a photo of Kennedy I loved but wasn't sure how to scrap it. So I put the two together.

Actually, the day this happened, she said she had a secret for me and whispered it in my ear. Makes me warm all over. I really am so blessed to have such a precious, kind-hearted daughter!

And I have a little mini challenge for you - and I am offering an RAK!!!!
You have until Sunday, April 5th at midnight CST to create it and link a photo or blog post about it back here to my blog in order to be in the drawing for the RAK! :)

The challenge:
Create a card or layout that includes a quote - either by a famous person or someone you know! Just incorporate a quote in it! And link it back here so I can leave you praise (and enter you into the RAK!)

Here is an idea of the RAK - Goodies from Making Memories, KI Memories, My Little Shoebox, Bazzill, We R Memory Keepers & Doodlebug! :)

Now, onto the next Blog in our Blog Hop Party! You should head over to Danielle W's Blog!!!!! Happy Hopping!!!!

Worm Love!

Well, I promised to show you shots of the mini album I did with My Little Shoebox! I loved the photos of Kennedy from this day and finally found the right papers for them! I hope she is always brave enough to dig for worms - and that she is always willing to pose with them!
Enjoy!
