Sky's The Limit

This month I got to play with the Sky's the Limit line from My Little Shoebox! I love the muted colors!

The light blues and the clouds were a delight to play with!!!! For this layout I cut the blue circular paper off center. I cut out clouds and pop-dotted them. I used the fun glitter stickers for the title.

Aren't my grandparents the cutest couple??


Next is a fun little card! I love the little houses in this line so I decided to make a "Congrats" card for a new home owner!!!! I hand cut the houses and clouds and pop-doted them. I placed them on a funky die cut, added the glitter sticker title and wrapped around some twine!!!!


The sentiment is on the back - it is a flat card! I cut out another house, used a die cut and placed the awesome tiny alphas inside it!Hope you enjoyed! I will be back soon with more projects with this line!

Back from Vacation!!!!!

Well, we are back from our weeklong trip to Myrtle Beach! It was fabulous! And I will be editing photos for months I think!

Kennedy is quite the traveler - she loved the plane rides! She is so easy - she will go anywhere and do anything! And can I just say how nice it is to travel with a potty trained little girl?!?! :)

These photos are just from our first day....

The weather was chilly and the water was very cold...You can see we are wearing jackets! Kennedy put her feet in and then she was done...she was shivering! Luckily the weather got better and we later spent MORE time on the beach while it was warm!

We went to a very cool place called Alligator Adventure! They had more gators and crocs than I had seen in my entire life!!!! These were 2 albino gators...very cool!
These were 2 huge crocs! At first we thought they weren't real because they barely moved! But they were VERY real!

And here is our brave lil girl petting an alligator!!!! She just loves animals of all types!
Alligator Adventure had MANY other cool animals to check out as well. We saw some super creepy snakes that I was so glad were behind glass! We thought these 2 lizards were pretty funny!
Alligator Adventure is located at a fun place called Barefoot Landing. Kennedy HAD to ride the carousel with Daddy!!!
And I had to take a picture of this restaurant. Kennedy had to point out the huge crab everytime we went by! We eventually ate there but it wasn't anything spectacular.

And this was a typical night for us! Jeff eating his weight in crab legs! Nothing like fresh seafood! I am not a huge seafood fan but I really enjoyed all the things I tried!

Phew....that was just one day!!!!! I will gradually post more photos for you all!

A week ago....

Needing to go back in time for a moment....just a week! We had such a great time with Uncle Ryan, Aunt Lindsay and Aunt Kay in for a visit! And Aunt Kay stayed extra long - a total treat for both Kennedy and I!

We went to the park, as you can see above. It was a bit cold...but Kay thought it was WARM! She is used to the freezing Minnesota weather! :)

We had to make a Starbucks run of course! Kennedy now thinks it is tradition to line up our drinks and take a photo of them! So - I guess I better make a scrapbook page about this, huh?!

And we were just being our silly selves here....well, they were being silly at least!!!

We grown ups went out for a night on the town! This is quite foreign to Jeff and I! We rarely go out and if we do it is usually dinner or a movie! We went to The Legends and tried to get appetizers - but all the restaurants had waits until 10pm! So we ate at Chipotle - YUM! Then we hit Dave and Busters! Totally fun! I loved seeing all of them try out the Dance Dancy Revolution! The looks of concentration on their faces were hilarious! I had a good excuse to not have to make a fool out of myself...recovering from a C-secion here!! No dancing for me! (huge sigh of relief!) I loved the motorcycle game and of course enjoyed the trivia game! It was a VERY fun night! And no, my brother did NOT wear Kennedy's hat all night...all though he probably would have for the right amount of money!
And one night Kay and Kennedy painted birdhouses while I made a tutu for Kennedy. Earlier in the week Kenna and I were at Hobby Lobby and she grabbed a wooden birdhouse. She asked if she could paint it and of course I said yes! Hooray! My crafty ways are getting to her I think!!! She had a blast making an all pink house! Then she made another that was pink and green with tons of stickers on it! Kennedy loved sharing the time with Kay!


And finally - I have scrapped a little bit! I am really happy with how this layout turned out. I have been loving all the Making Memories lines lately - that is all I have used for about the past 6 projects!!!!!



I know many of you are waiting for Kennedy's 3rd birthday photos! Sorry - you have to wait a bit longer! Maybe in my next post!!!!!
