Nutty Girls

Time to show you more My Little Shoebox!!!! This is another layout I created with the Imagine a Forest line. YUM! The designers were challenged to scraplift another DT member this month - Michelle Lanning! You can see the layout I was to lift HERE.

My take was a little different. I used the circle paper and included a photo strip rather than one photo. I did keep the quilting feel to it but cutting lots of little rectangles and sewing each one individually. (I was watching Cake Boss on TLC while I made this!)

I love the little squirrels - and I even incorporated the big squirrel overlay!

This was my final layout with Imagine a Forest!!
I did lots of layering -and even some hand stitching in green and pink. (though it is really hard to see).

Thanks for taking a peek! I recently made some baby items for Simply Renee and am working on a joint project with My Little Shoebox, Shimmerz and Clear Scraps! So stayed tuned for more!

Lil Crab!

Here is my final project for My Little Shoebox for the month! These photos are so old...but I have been waiting to scrap them for awhile!!! Kennedy was 2.5 on our trip to Florida! A crab wandered up to our towels on the beach and we females were squealing! We were hoping it would just crawl away. But Jeff was determined to catch it! So he chased and chased it and did end up getting it! He showed Kennedy but she wasn't so sure of it!!! I don't blame her!

I used the round paper and cut slits along some of the edges. I then slid the pink paper and green strips underneath. I cut out many of the little clouds and pop dotted them. I also used the overlay clouds and layered them with paper.

The title in the fun chipboard letters is on a die cut and I added Stickles around the edge. I also added Stickles to the circluar paper.
Thanks for checking in! I will have the My Little Shoebox November projects to share soon!!!!

More My Little Shoebox!

The beginning of the month is mega unveiling time for me and my projects! I have so much to share! I already showed you my project using My Little Shoebox with our partner this month, Hambly. I gave you my Kraft Girl sneak peeks! I shared one Kraft Girl layout! Now I am going to show you my other My Little Shoebox layouts!

Our focus this month was to highlight the rockin' chipboard letters and the white overlays! Here is how I used them!

Isn't the chipboard font so FuNkY?!? On this Easter layout I outlined them with my white Sharpie!

For this card I just mixed chipboard colors! (I think I have them in at least 6 colors!)

On this card I used glitter glue on the chipboard letters AND the white overlay flower! Then I added pink Stickles to the overlay word 'wonderful.'
*sorry the coloring is a little wonky on these photos!

And saving my favorite for last! I just love these old photos of Kennedy in the pool - giggling at Daddy!
On this layout I used clear glitter glue & Stickles to the flower overlays and the scallop edging overlays!!

Thanks so much for checking out my creations!
I will be back with more to share soon!!!!

My Little Shoebox + Hambly!

Yes, my title is correct! My Little Shoebox goodies with Hambly deliciousness! I was so thrilled when the fabulous Suzy West told us we would be working with Hambly AND My Little Shoebox this month! What a treat! The two go together sooo well!!! See for yourself! (This month I worked with the line "WONDERFUL" from My Little Shoebox)

"Face Painting"
On this layout I used a yellow Hambly overlay on white cardstock for my background. And I stitched around it of course - did you know you can stitch on overlays?! I also added an orange kraft sticker from Hambly along the left side of the photo. I placed two teal tree rub ons from Hambly in the bottom right corner. Do you see the little pink one at the base of the trees? That is Hambly too! The matching teal rub on is on the left side of the photo. Of course all the paper, chipboard letters ad die cuts are My Little Shoebox!

In this full shot you can see the fun I had playing with circles! I cut the blue circle die cuts in half and adhered them to the right edge of the photo to make a scallop effect. The smaller blue circles are actually punched from patterned paper and layered with jewels!

"Yo"
This is a very simple card! All patterned paper is My Little Shoebox along with the chipboard letters! On the right side of the card I layered 2 Hambly overlays (pink and teal). Then used another Hambly tree rub on!!!

"Cresto" (Kennedy says Cresto instead of Presto when waving her wand!)
I am in love with the Hambly overlays now. This pink one is so delicious! I layered strips of My Little Shoebox paper along the left side - and added a teal kraft sticker from Hambly. The green and yellow circles are punched from the MLS patterned paper. And the pink journal spot is a Hambly rub on!

"BFF"
One final card for you! I again layered the Hambly overlays! I used a My Little Shoebox die cut to house the title and added lots of Hambly rub ons. The title is actually a Martha Stewart sticker.

Thanks for taking a peak friends! In a few days I will post more My Little Shoebox creations!!!!!
