July Kit at Kraft Girl Kits!!!!!!!

Pam at Kraft Girl Kits has done it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! This month's kit is another MUST HAVE!!!!!! Head on over to pick one up before they are gone!!!!! Click HERE!

My first layout features a very unhappy Kennedy! I think all parents can relate!!!

I can't tell you how awesome the Crackle Paint is! Yes, that's right! You get crackle paint in this month's kit! I now am completely addicted and need more colors! And is that butterfly not TO DIE FOR?!?! WOW!

This layout was just a silly one! I thought the Basic Grey paper was so fun! So I cut it up and arranged it as trees, complete with bird rub ons and shiny leaves!!!!

And finally....
These photos of Kennedy are so old!!!! But I love them! And I noticed she is drawing with her left hand! She is STILL a lefty!!!!!
I hope you can hop over the Kraft Girls and see what the other amazing designers did!!!

I hope you all had a safe and fabulous Independence Day!

Kraft Girls!!!!

I am finally uploading the rest of my creations with the June kit over at Kraft Girl Kits!!!! YUM!

On this layout I used the chipboard bracket in the kit under my title. I inked it orange. Then applied some Modge Podge and dumped lots of white glitter on it!

All my local scrappy friends know about my love of buttons!

And the entire layout. The photos were taken this May.
**********************

I had a hard time photographing this layout and getting the true colors right. I promise you the IRL image is much better!!!!

These photos are so old but I just adore them! Kennedy and her cousin - they only get to see each other once or twice a year.

The ribbon that Pam included in this kit was to die for! I used every last bit of it!!!!

I hand cut my own little fish to carry on with the fish theme! Then used 3D adhesive to give it a lil umph!
Again, the colors in the layout go so well together in real life!

Hope you have a great week!!!
Blessings!

Randomness on a Saturday Night!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekends! We just got home from a BBQ with my Bible study gals and their families - had such fun!

Just hoping on quickly to post a few photos of recent projects!!!

Today we revealed the cards and tags from sketch #60 over at Triple the Sketch! Here is mine!

And I will be slowly sharing my Kraft Girl kit projects with the June kit! It has such fun, bright, summery colors and designs!!!!

On this layout I wanted a quilt-like feel. I cut out lots of squares and sewed them all on ! Lots of sewing but a fun look I think!!! I punched some circles out of the patterned paper with my Martha Stewart mini scallop punch - I am loving that thing! The journaling went right on the photo. Gotta love colored Sharpies!

I have lots more to share so check back in often! And enjoy your first June weekend!!!!

Blog Awards!

You know those little blog awards you see floating around blogland?!
Well, recently I had two gals "give" me an award! It is nice to know that not just my family reads my blogs!

This first Blog Award is from the super sweet Cheryl Nelson aka CherylJuneGirl! I have known Cheryl for years....at least through the cyberworld! She has *the* biggest heart and some amazing talent to go with it! You can find her blog HERE!
I've decided to pass out the cute little "Ladybug Award" to the following bloggers. But first, the rules:

1. The winners should put the logo on their blog.

2. On your blog, link the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate 5 other blogs for the award.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.

5. Leave a message on the blogs you've awarded.
Here are the bloggers who make me smile:

1. Kim R
2. Michelle F
3. Kristy
4. Danni

5. Carrie

*******************************************

The second one if from Danielle Wycough, whom I have just come to know recently. We both have the honor of working for Patter Cross on the Triple the Sketch Design Team. Danielle also has the sweetest personality and serious creativity!! You can find her blog HERE. And I really feel that this award belongs to my other blog! Which you can find HERE!

Here is what lies behind it. Diane Noble is the great lady who introduced this wonderful blog award. In her words, "it is given to bloggers who consistently exalt the name of Christ on their blogs. What a joy to see crafters blend passion for Christ and papercrafting. This award is given to bloggers who share Christ through their posts or through the design of their artwork. We are commanded in Scripture to be 'salt and light' sharing the Good News of Jesus no matter where we are (Matthew 5:13-16).

Rules: Post the blog award in a regular post on your blog with the explanation, including the original link to WTW and the rules for passing the award along.
1. Name five people (more or less is fine!) to whom you want to offer this award and link to their blogs. The blogs need to obviously exalt Christ in some manner.
2. Contact the bloggers you have named to let them know they can pick up their blog award from you.
3. Invite them to permanently display the WTW blog badge and/or the award on their blogs.
The badge can be obtained on the WTW site

And with that I leave you two layouts from Kraft Girl Kit's May Kit!
