I have come to know the other girls on the team so well....such wonderful friendships have been made. I am going to miss our constant chatter and the amazing circle of prayer warriors. But at the same time I am so excited for Patter. She is following God's vision for her and I just she will bless many and also be blessed herself! Thank you my TTS girlies!!! It has been great!! So, over the next two days we will be sharing our last 4 sketches via a blog hop. I hope you all will hop along...this team is SOOOO full of talent you are sure to be inspired!

Triple the Sketch + Shimmerz!!!!

For this week at Triple the Sketch, we partnered with Shimmerz!!! I have to admit, this was my first time using Shimmerz products!!!! I absolutely love them and now have many different colors as well as sprays and paints! They are too fun!

This week's sketch originally showed a large circle, but I changed it to a large cupcake!! The purple and teal are Shimmerz! The large cupcake stamp is from Stampin' Up! The bling is Doodlebug, pink paper and trim is from Crate Paper and the rub on is from Scenic Route!

Thanks for peeking! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!!

This was sketc #65. I made it for a dear friend for her birthday!!! ;) (wink, wink)

Randomness on a Saturday Night!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekends! We just got home from a BBQ with my Bible study gals and their families - had such fun!

Just hoping on quickly to post a few photos of recent projects!!!

Today we revealed the cards and tags from sketch #60 over at Triple the Sketch! Here is mine!

And I will be slowly sharing my Kraft Girl kit projects with the June kit! It has such fun, bright, summery colors and designs!!!!

On this layout I wanted a quilt-like feel. I cut out lots of squares and sewed them all on ! Lots of sewing but a fun look I think!!! I punched some circles out of the patterned paper with my Martha Stewart mini scallop punch - I am loving that thing! The journaling went right on the photo. Gotta love colored Sharpies!

I have lots more to share so check back in often! And enjoy your first June weekend!!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!

It is Saturday so that means the cards and projects were posted over at Triple the Sketch with our latest sketch! I forgot to post last week's project! It is my dad, Kennedy and her cousin, Eva. My dad just can't get enough of his 2 little granddaughters!!!!!

I LOVED this week's sketch and think you all will too!!! I rotated the sketch for a little girl card.....

In scrappy news I have an article coming up in the July issue of Scrapbooking.com. This is my first time working with them and I was honored to have them approach me!

Nothing much of note here! Just loving that Spring is finally here, the sun is out and the birds are chirping!

Blessings....

Triple the Sketch BLOG HOP!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to the Triple the Sketch Blog!!!!! To celebrate we are having a blog hop!!!! Are you ready to play?!?!

You should be starting your hop at the Triple the Sketch blog. If you did not start there, please return to the TTS blog so that you don’t miss any of the fun!
And you should have joined me from Chelsea's Blog!

For today I went back through some older sketches and chose to use Sketch #29! Here is my take on it!

I did kind of a mirror image take on the sketch! I used the April kit at Kraft Girl kits to create it. In a little pad of paper I keep track of little things Kennedy says and does that I never want to forgot. I was rereading it the other day and came across this cute little thing she said to me. And I had a photo of Kennedy I loved but wasn't sure how to scrap it. So I put the two together.

Actually, the day this happened, she said she had a secret for me and whispered it in my ear. Makes me warm all over. I really am so blessed to have such a precious, kind-hearted daughter!

And I have a little mini challenge for you - and I am offering an RAK!!!!
You have until Sunday, April 5th at midnight CST to create it and link a photo or blog post about it back here to my blog in order to be in the drawing for the RAK! :)

The challenge:
Create a card or layout that includes a quote - either by a famous person or someone you know! Just incorporate a quote in it! And link it back here so I can leave you praise (and enter you into the RAK!)

Here is an idea of the RAK - Goodies from Making Memories, KI Memories, My Little Shoebox, Bazzill, We R Memory Keepers & Doodlebug! :)

Now, onto the next Blog in our Blog Hop Party! You should head over to Danielle W's Blog!!!!! Happy Hopping!!!!
